How to make quick Italian desserts

Always tasty , easy to make, everyone loves them! Italian desserts are simple and aromatic and you can't go wrong when you prepare them for parties, pot lucks etc..

Tiramisu

This recipe is "no-complications" one and the alternative for the one I provided on my Food Movies page. It is not a mascarpone "The original" but pretty good taste still guarantied!
 And, no cooking required !

Start with lady-fingers

Dip them in the coffee-mix for short time

In the other bowl cream/mix cream-cheese, egg-yolks and sugar until very creamy.

Immediately start with making egg white "snow" and after some time add sugar and continue beating so you get nice consistency.

Now combine them together with slow moves of spatula, but make them blend together completely.
That's the most important part of the work.

Now start with layering: lady fingers, cream cheese mix, chocolate grinds...

Until you run out of ingredients.

And this is it! Leave it in the fridge or if you have self-control problem, get your spoon !

Tiramisu "no mascarpone" recipe:

4 eggs,
Pack of lady-fingers,
cream-cheese (250 gr)
sugar 1/2 cup (wholesome preferably)

Coffee mix for lady-fingers dipping:
boiled espresso coffee (1/2 cup) mixed with some amareto liquor

Biscotti
(Chocolate chunk - whole wheat)

This one is the chocolate one but the basis for the recipe is the same, you can just add some nuts or dry fruits (dry orange peel gives amazing taste!) or aromas and use even whole wheat as I did, instead of unbleached flour.

After mixing all the ingredients together make a log and place it on the baking pan or sheet.

Bake it on 180 C for 25 - 30 minutes

If you desire soft biscotti, cut it after cooling and serve, but if you like real bi (twice) scotti ( baked ), do it as it says,  bake one more time cut pieces for 5-10 more minutes.
